Farewell Monet! Hello Baxter!

I guess you've been wondering what I have been up to lately.  Well allow me to enlighten you on my latest endeavors.
I got a dog!  Not just any dog mind you, this dog had to be hypoallergenic first of all!  My allergies are just too much for me to handle another animal!  So this was top priority.  He had to fixed, regardless male or female.  And I wanted a small dog.  So I settled for a Maltese and I was smart, yep I went thru Petfinder.com and found my baby!  He is sooo sweet and such a good boy too.  I never thought I would love a dog but I do!  Amazing right?  Well the hubs loves him too.  Calls him his smoking buddy.  You should see them out in the yard....The hubs with his prison hat on walking the dog on his fancy leash.....kinda makes the hubs look like a prisoner being made to walk the warden's dog!  lol    At any rate, he's here to stay and besides we've already named him.  His name is Baxter.  He doesn't bark often only when someone is trying to come inside the house.  Other than howling when one of us leaves him, he is pretty quiet fellow.  You should have seen us the other day in Wally World (Wal-Mart).  We were looking for a sweater to keep him warm since I had him shaved.  I found one but the hubs found a cute jacket, yes folks clothes for the critters, I know, I know I swore I would never be ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE, yet here I am!  The hubs liked the jacket and I liked the sweater, needless to say we got them both!  lol
The Hub's girlfriend has gone to her furever home! Yay!  no more hairballs!  I am soooo very happy!  You will never understand unless you have lived with her or been around her but she was one nasty lady!  I suggest you read my story on my facebook page under Notes.  It's titled My Husbands Girlfriend.  You will understand then.......  So after delivering her to her new home, the hubs asks did she take it well? Yes I replied, as a matter of fact when I left she was sitting on her new boyfriend's lap telling him how awful we were to her here.  His reply?  Brace yourself folks!  He replied, "You'd think after all these years she would have some feelings for me......."  Yep he sure did and with that I had to run outside to keep from busting my gut with laughter!  Still cracks me up!
A little red head in my life gave birth rather early I may add to her son on Superbowl Sunday!  He weighed 3lbs 8ozs.  Came screaming into this world which by the way is a good thing.  I really believe he will be home in 3 weeks.  Mom doesn't think so but hey he only has 2 1/2 lbs to gain before he comes home.  He can do it after all he is a Burrell right?  And he is a Mayer-Young too and they are pretty damn indestructible.  Just ask his Uncle Morgan.....
So today is Valentine's Day.  I don't know what you have planned but I've got hot wire to string and posts to set.  So I guess I better get busy!  Y'all have a wonderful Valentine's Day and God Bless you all!
